PERFORMANCES

Choirs from CR North take great pride in having a fine reputation of outstanding choral performances. Every effort is made to ensure that each choir sounds and looks their best. Exceptional behavior and clarity of purpose is expected from all students at all times. Gum chewing at the performance venue is not allowed.

Typically each choir will participate in a minimum of two major concerts. However, Members of NorthVoice and Rhythm of the Rock will experience a high number of performances in any given year.

When special performance opportunities arise, extra rehearsals may be scheduled. Members will be expected to make every effort to attend these rehearsals, although academic grades will not be affected by any absence in this circumstance.

Throughout the year, some students will be afforded opportunities to participate in choral festivals involving guest conductors, students from neighboring schools, etc. These festivals carry a special honor for our students, our school and our district. Students who are selected must be aware of and be committed to the responsibility that comes with such an honor.


